We are located in California, normal shipping times for orders are 3-5 business days.

Free domestic shipping over $35.

Free economy international shipping on orders over $300.

All international shipments will be declared and insured for full value.

Buyer is responsible for customs and fees for international shipments.

Orders ship within 3 to 5 business days (this does not include Sat or Sun) from California (PST).

Note to buyers in China and Hong Kong, that shipments to these locations are sent on a one-time monthly basis on the second Tuesday of every month unless otherwise arranged and coordinated. Orders placed and paid for will be held until the next shipment date to these locations. The method of shipment may change due to changing shipping situations. For flat rate or free shipping, shipping service or carrier is chosen at the seller's discretion. Buyers may choose preferred service for an additional cost. Note that due to Co-Vid related issues, the seller has the discretion to change service to the best available option at the time of shipment. 

Purchased items are shipped in packaging that protects the value of the purchased item. All items are shipped in a manner that provides proof of shipping, usually through USPS mailing; the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.

For items picked up or purchased in person, they are non-turnable and non-refundable. 

For discounted or promotional shipping offers, the buyer accepts responsibility for the items value and any risks of damage. Buyers must indicate they prefer insurance or registered mail prior to purchase and must pay in full for shipping prior to shipment of the item(s).

Free domestic shipping applies to the continental U.S., excludes Alaska, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, military and air force bases.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING is at the discretion of the seller. International buyers must contact the seller prior to purchase for a specific quote of shipping to their destination.

ALL INTERNATIONAL BUYERS assume full responsibility for the value of the item(s) shipped and risks of damage if they choose not to pay for or forego registered mail and insurance on the item. Buyers must indicate they prefer insurance or registered mail prior to purchase and must pay in full for shipping prior to shipment of the item(s). 

All shipping costs are at the expense of the buyer and are required to be paid for prior to shipping. Any specialty shipping services, beyond those listed above, may be requested and paid for by the buyer and provided at the discretion of the seller. Buyers must contact the seller and make arrangements for shipping before the item is purchased.

International buyers will be responsible for any additional costs associated with the shipping of the item. Though not common, customs can delay packages by up to 6 weeks. 

Buyer accepts all custom's fee, additional shipping charges, and any applicable taxes incurred as a result of their purchase or shipment of a item(s). Seller will not change the value of the merchandise for international shipments or alter custom's forms for any buyer, under any circumstance. 

Items will automatically be shipped to the address given during checkout unless another address is requested and specified by the buyer prior to purchase and in accordance with the site policies. Items will be shipped within three (3) business days of cleared payment for the item(s).

Return and Refund Policy:

We do not accept returns of rough/raw minerals and crystals, or cabochons or gemstones. We do not accept any item purchased on sale, discount or with a promotion.

By purchasing goods from Pure Gems Minerals & Design you are entering into a legally binding agreement.  Please read and understand these terms as they affect your rights and liabilities.

 

Our goal is to provide high quality goods, products and services.  Accordingly, we warranty only finished goods will meet their specification and will be free from defects in workmanship at the time of delivery.  All materials used to create these finished products are natural gemstones, which may have normal attributes associated with natural minerals and gemstones such as inclusions, growth lines, fissures or factures, natural defects and other irregularities. Although each piece has been cut and crafted to the highest industry standard these natural attributes may appear in a finished piece. Typically these do not affect the integrity of the piece and often make the piece unique or rare. In some rare cases, the crafting and cutting of the piece may result in loss of material or integrity of the finished piece.

 

Additionally, use, wear and tear, or damage to the piece may affect the integrity of the piece resulting in the loss or damage of the piece, these are not warrantied. If a piece incurs damage after receipt, I would be happy to look at the piece and let you know if I can do anything to help repair or recraft the piece. We do not insure or protect against damage to finished stones once received or due to damage from handling or use as gemstones require care with handling. 

 

Please unpack and inspect your order immediately. Any and all claims must be reported within 24 hours of purchase.

 

Items unused, undamaged and approved for return by seller may be returned at buyers expense to Pure Gems Minerals and Design within 7 days of receipt of product according to tracking information. Pure Gems Minerals and Designs does not accept damaged or altered items. 

 

**Please note that all custom order sales, online custom orders, parcels and in-person sale are considered final, these include rough mineral orders. All parcels or purchases of rough, unfinished, uncut mineral specimens, stone and materials are not returnable or refundable. 

 

All returned packages must include securely packaged merchandise and the original invoice. The items being returned must be shipped using a comparable shipping carrier as that in which the item was sent and must be fully insured for the item's value and have a tracking number. Please allow up to 21 business days for your exchange or return to be processed. Business days are Monday-Friday except for federal holidays. Return processing begins after your package is delivered to us.

 

Items being returned that were originally purchased with free shipping will only be refunded the value of the item(s) minus the shipping costs and restocking fees.

All sales are final on discounted items. Sale, discounted or clearance items are NOT eligible for return or exchange.

 

Buyers may request to cancel or change an order within 24 hours of purchase, changes are permitted at the discretion of the seller.

 

For international shipments please allow up to 40 days to deliver per shipping carriers' policy before inquiring about delivery issues. If the package is not received within 40 days you may request a formal investigation from the carrier for which Pure Gems Minerals is willing to assist. Upon determination of package outcome, Pure Gems Minerals will assist in getting insurance coverage approved if it was purchased. The process for insurance coverage and refund could take up to 21 days to process and return. 

 

Pure Gems Minerals and Designs is not responsible for lost or damaged items after delivery has been accepted.
